About the Breed

All our babies are social and require your attention. Our cats are not a good option if you’re gone most of the time without having a friend. Small dogs make good friends too! All are raised indoor.

What are Snowdolls?

Snowdolls are a crossbreed of a Ragdoll and a Snowshoe cat. They are very smart and affectionate. They are social kitties that enjoy being part of the family. They love their family, but may be cautious around strangers.

They like to be where you are and investigate things around the house. Like most cats, snowdolls are pretty playful. They can find anything to play with from plastic wrappers to socks they drag around the house. They are interactive and fun, but loving members of the family. It is not uncommon for them to help do chores around the house. They are attracted to water and generally like to play in it, rather than swim in it. However, we have had reports of cats that love to swim. They are also very clever and learn to open cabinets and doors. Generally speaking, they are very low maintance with fur upkeep, needing very little brushing and bathing. Unfortunately, indoor cats will shed their fur, but brushing will reduce the amount. Can be messy when eating because they will run around when eating and play with their water bowl. They love to sleep and hang out in high places, often found together. Get ready for a feline that meets you at the bed ready for snuggles.

What are Purrdolls?

Purrdolls are a crossbreed of a Ragdoll and a Persian cat. These are lap kitties. They want to be where you are, snuggling with you. They like to be held, and frequently remind you how much they love you with their loud purr boxes. Purrdolls are also attracted to water. Bath time is no problem for them. They have a very flopsy feel when you pick them up. The Purrdoll cross breed really helps with issues of respiratory infections and eye discharge that is frequently seen in Persians. This means better health for the life of the cat. The longer fur will have more maintance than our Snowdolls, needing an occasional brushing to prevent knots and shedding. Very clean eaters! Love to sleep with you and will follow you from room to room.

Both breeds are very similar; affectionate and social. Both love to be with you! Snowdolls can be more protective of their owners. While Purrdollls will welcome a strangers affection.

About Cutie-Kittenz

My hope as a breeder, is to make the adoption process a special occasion you will remember, while also encouraging a trusting relationship to help you with the transition of bringing in your new member of the family. We look at selling kittens as adoption rather than a cattery business. We keep our litters small, so we have the time to get to know each kitten, giving lots of interaction before they go home. This is important because it shapes how your cat will bond with you. We litter train early and allow our babies to free roam in our home as family. Kittens are only caged when we have to do photos so they will stay in one area or during transport. All our babies are trained to use cat towers for clawing instead of furniture.

We have been breeding crossbreeds since 2016. Even if you’re not adopting from us, we welcome questions about your pet and don’t mind offering advice. Our ragdoll stud is a smart and social guy. He is a full breed bluepoint ragdoll, known for his easy going personality that enjoys being with the family. He is a great Daddy that even helps out with the kittens from time to time. Our stud spends regular time with us and is on site. Both our Queens are very maternal and affectionate. Both still like to play with toys and each other.

Why We Choose to Crossbreed?

We began this process after finding out complaints from people who were spending lots of money for a pet that was not living through its first year. Our questions lead us to find crossbreed pets had greater health and significantly less health problems. Our Veterinarian told us full breeds were predisposed to specific health conditions and shorter life spans due to dilution in genetics and possibility of inbreeding down a family line to obtain a specific look. Something I had never considered. Deeper we went and found evidence to show some full breeds had closely linked genetics gave them higher chances of chronic problems like such kidney disease, respiratory diseases and even heart problems that eventually lead to organ failure.

I choose to breed crossbreeds because we can produce healthier kittens and create unique looks. We never imbreed. From a genetic standpoint, kittens that come from 2 different breeds avoid dilute genes and have less chance for sickness and chronic diseases. Our kittens are healthier and smarter with cute little personalities. Their life longevity is greater because we care about the bloodline. They have unique looks too. We adore our doll babies and we hope you will too! This is not the same as a mixed breed.
